Vintage Worn out shoes!

Does anybody like this new trend? You are all probably aware of the fact that the “worn out/washed out” vintage look is back in action all the major retailers are copying each others designs! I wish Fashion labels didn’t do that, however that’s how trends are created. A label comes up with a fresh original look and then the designs are almost plagiarized by other labels. So i’ve looking into this “worn out” look and i dont know what to think, Some of the companies have really nailed the look and some of them are just not getting it! Some of the stuff like the worn out jeans and tops are a little bit too much for me, however i love the worn out vintage shoes!

Accessorize yourself for Winter!

Winter is kicking in and everybody has started advertising for xmas already. Since Xmas is coming up i though i ‘d make some suggestions on possible Christmas Gifts you can get.  I’ve always loved accessories because the make a  massive difference to the entire outfit if you use them correctly,  i love wearing all these accessories because you cannot wear most of them during the summer.

I love this belt by reiss! Brown leather belts are the latest thing just now! You can go for (Black wet look jeans,  Knitwear on top-(v-neck-cardigan, in black) and then you can match that belt with some brogues!

Check these lovely scarves from duchamp!!A nice scarf is a wardrobe essential for this season! It also looks cool and sophisticated and can be combined with loads of styles.

Where is online shopping going?

I visited the Reiss online store the other day just to check out the new arrivals and ended up buying a jacket! I know I’ve always liked Reiss but I think that im getting a little bit addicted to online shopping. I only started online shopping when I acquired my first debit card which was recently. The first month I didn’t really buy anything online but the month after that I bought something for the first time from Reiss and then from French connection, and after that I was hooked! I got addicted to the idea of online shopping because it didn’t take much effort-just a couple of clicks and you get whatever you want (literally whatever you want). I was one of the people that didn’t think much of online shopping when it comes to clothes and that was because i always thought that you need to try something on first. If you know the brand and you’ve purchased clothes before from the specific company you are fine, but even if you don’t know the brand most websites these days enable you to return the product and get your money back! (haven’t done that so far, and I’ve spent loads and experimented with new brands). Anyway so I was on the Reiss website the other day and I ended up buying this gorgeous jacket pictured below! How could i resist?look at it!143001-22-1

Rock & Bowl

Found out about these cool plates and bowls that you can make out fo cheap vinyl. I would recommend using vintage old classics or your fathers vinyl collection. I would go crazy if somebody used my vinyl collection to make plates and bowls, however you can visit a local charity shop and buy old vinyl records for something like 20 p , You know stuff like Bananorama, Phil collins, The gupsy Kings etc.

Personally i used a Bruce Willis record that i got for 50 p, I never new he had a record out. Its really bad by the way..Anyway Check out the following instructions on how to make a bowl/plate out of vinyl.

Record bowl

  1. Preheat your oven to around 200-250 degrees Fahrenheit (100-150 Celsius).
  2. Place your record on the center of an upside down pot or metal bowl. Put this onto a baking sheet.
  3. Put this into the oven. Keep a close watch because each vinyl starts to “flop” at a different time. It usually takes 4-8 minutes.
  4. Take the whole thing out of the oven (wearing oven mitts, of course) once you notice some real “flopping” going on.
  5. Put your record into another bowl and shape it around that, or you can hand mold it. Sometimes, you might like the way it looks right as you take it out of the oven; if so, skip the molding.
  6. Let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Flip it over.
  8. Put your bowl to use

Cool I-pod casette case!

I have been avoiding ipods for the past 5 years now because im a mini disc person.Yes i love mini discs, i bought my first my first and only mini disc player when i was 15 and i was fascinated with the fact that i could fit 100 songs on to one mini disc. I use to skate a lot so so i ve dropped the mini disc and landed on it loads of times, so 10 years later (1 month ago) my mini disc decided to die…Im a musician myself and i listen to music everywhere so im finnally thinking that i should invest in an i-pod since i cant listen to music anymore, and in order to make my ipod looks a litlle bit different im going to buy one of these cool cases for it. Check them out.

The website is packed with different designs and is divided into appropriate sections to differentiate the tee categories!!Need to check it out people.
