Does anybody like this new trend? You are all probably aware of the fact that the “worn out/washed out” vintage look is back in action all the major retailers are copying each others designs! I wish Fashion labels didn’t do that, however that’s how trends are created. A label comes up with a fresh original look and then the designs are almost plagiarized by other labels. So i’ve looking into this “worn out” look and i dont know what to think, Some of the companies have really nailed the look and some of them are just not getting it! Some of the stuff like the worn out jeans and tops are a little bit too much for me, however i love the worn out vintage shoes!

I have always loved the old school vintage leather bags, the ones that your high school teacher would probably carry arround. I never had one but i think now is the time to buy one. I have always used backpacks that are actually quite practical but the look really bad. So i was thinking about investing in a nice leather bag. Leather bags are really big just now and men’s just use them as a fashion accessorie. In my case ill probably combine both as i usually tend to carry loads of things with me, a nice bag would be the perfect accessory for me just now. These are the two styles i want to go for. The first one has the classic tan dry leather look which i love. It’s also quite simple and has an amazing colour. The second one is more vintage-shinny leather, proffesor bag look. I like the second option too as it has a lot of detail( pockets, straps etc). Which one do you think i should go for? Let me know what you think…

The perfect combo is going to be a new section to the kidlazy blog and probably the most exciting and creative one for me at least. I have always loved reading blogs-, i spend hours searching for new fashion blogs and reading new material on new and old & established blogs. So i decided that every week i’ll select a certain look from a blog ie “altamira” and then i will look for similar clothes on different online stores in order to match up the look for you guys at a resonable price! I am going to be doing this every friday from now on so stay tuned, drop me a line and tell me what you think!
This is my personal recomendation for today! I love the shwood sunglasses and those brogues are just the business. To make the overall look even more casual i’ve chosen a shirt by Reiss and a simple pair of washed out jeans. This a nice and casual look but at the same time its cool and sophisticated! There is a nice contrast between the elegancy of the borgues shoes and the coolness of the shwood sunglasses!

Winter is kicking in and everybody has started advertising for xmas already. Since Xmas is coming up i though i ‘d make some suggestions on possible Christmas Gifts you can get. I’ve always loved accessories because the make a massive difference to the entire outfit if you use them correctly, i love wearing all these accessories because you cannot wear most of them during the summer.

I love this belt by reiss! Brown leather belts are the latest thing just now! You can go for (Black wet look jeans, Knitwear on top-(v-neck-cardigan, in black) and then you can match that belt with some brogues!

Check these lovely scarves from duchamp!!A nice scarf is a wardrobe essential for this season! It also looks cool and sophisticated and can be combined with loads of styles.
I also like this Bag i found on reiss, also an essential for this season!

I know that i haven’t posted anything about sunglasses in ages so i took this opportunity to share photos of probably my favourite pair of sunglasses! I found out about them recently and everybody seems to be talking about these sunglasses just now. The aspect that differentiates them from all the other “normal sunglasses” and makes them unique is that the are actually handcrafted from wood! How cool is that? I went on the website and discovered that the sunglasses are handmade in Portland , Oregon and are available in Zebrawood, Wenge and Maple. Each pair comes equipped with your choice of imported Carl Zeiss or polarized lenses to complete the package.

“
If only James Dean were still around to rock Canbys…Modeled after the classic icon of the all American badass, Shwood’s debut model lays the groundwork for an entire wood revolution. Simple but unforgettable, the Shwood Canby mixes timeless style with the luxuriousness of exotic hardwoods. Whether you’re hitting the club or hitchin’ a ride, the Canby lays down the look of over 50 years of cool.”

I visited the Reiss online store the other day just to check out the new arrivals and ended up buying a jacket! I know I’ve always liked Reiss but I think that im getting a little bit addicted to online shopping. I only started online shopping when I acquired my first debit card which was recently. The first month I didn’t really buy anything online but the month after that I bought something for the first time from Reiss and then from French connection, and after that I was hooked! I got addicted to the idea of online shopping because it didn’t take much effort-just a couple of clicks and you get whatever you want (literally whatever you want). I was one of the people that didn’t think much of online shopping when it comes to clothes and that was because i always thought that you need to try something on first. If you know the brand and you’ve purchased clothes before from the specific company you are fine, but even if you don’t know the brand most websites these days enable you to return the product and get your money back! (haven’t done that so far, and I’ve spent loads and experimented with new brands). Anyway so I was on the Reiss website the other day and I ended up buying this gorgeous jacket pictured below! How could i resist?look at it!

I visited the duchamp website and Marc Psarolis has just added a new blogpost called the History of the tie. It is really interesting as it describes with words-videos and pictures how the duchamp ties are actually created! “a Duchamp tie is a marvellous amalgam of art and technology” and its nice to see how everything is put together from selecting the materials to designing and weaving tie. You should follow th link and check out Marcs post as it is an interesting read for everyone.
